Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and contribute to a welcoming dining environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting guests with their needs to create a memorable dining experience. Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted. Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to during service. Assist in setting up tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Handle guest queries professionally and resolve any issues efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods using effective time management skills.

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Familiarity with food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable manner. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours. Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience. Culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial but is not essential.
