Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred, along with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted Serve meals and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance guest experience Ensure tables are cleared promptly and reset for new guests Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas in accordance with food safety standards Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed, supporting the culinary team Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolving any concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction Process payments accurately using POS systems and issue receipts

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving procedures Basic maths skills for handling transactions and bill calculations Familiarity with food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable manner Ability to upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities Organised, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required
