Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all details are captured correctly. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and service. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience in serving or culinary roles is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.
