Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant service, demonstrating excellent guest service skills and a passion for food. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing attentive and efficient service to our guests while ensuring their satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards. Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials to enhance the dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including setting tables and clearing dishes promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve any issues promptly. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to hygiene standards. Keep track of bills and payments accurately using basic math skills.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is essential. Experience in serving, culinary skills, or kitchen operations is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high service standards. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Pay: 12.25-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
