As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality food and beverage service, while also contributing to the overall ambiance of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and attended to. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience through upselling techniques. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and adhering to sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Assist with training new staff members in service protocols and restaurant procedures as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the food industry.
