As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously, ensuring they feel welcome. Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage offerings, including daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders, using basic maths skills to ensure precision in order processing. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests. Assist with food preparation as needed, demonstrating culinary skills when required.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Strong time management skills to effectively handle multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously. Basic knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest services. A friendly disposition with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
