We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding guest services while ensuring that all food safety and culinary standards are met. Your ability to upsell menu items and assist guests will contribute significantly to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

Greet and seat guests, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety regulations. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns. Process payments accurately and handle cash responsibly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for helping others and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
