Duties

Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and dietary options Upsell additional items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of service areas before, during, and after shifts Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, resolving any issues to ensure satisfaction Follow food safety standards and maintain hygiene protocols at all times Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff as required Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling Experience with serving, upselling, and guest services enhances suitability for this role Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
