Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to during service and food preparation. Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and resetting for new guests efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, making recommendations, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including tables, stations, and workspaces throughout shifts. Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate concerns when necessary.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation skills are advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour. Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes. Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory. Good time management skills to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. A genuine passion for guest services and creating memorable dining experiences.
