Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve meals and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in throughout their dining experience Handle payments accurately and provide correct change or receipts Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas Promote specials and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales Adhere to food safety standards and health regulations at all times Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Assist with set-up, clearing, and resetting tables as needed

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential Knowledge of food safety procedures and basic food preparation techniques Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities Good communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately Experience with guest services, including accommodating special requests and resolving issues amicably Willingness to learn about menu items, wine pairings, and upselling techniques A positive attitude with a team-oriented approach to work
