As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patrons enjoy their meals while maintaining high standards of food safety and service.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and drink orders, relaying them to the kitchen staff efficiently. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure that all food safety standards are adhered to during service. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing assistance as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and guest service standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong culinary knowledge and understanding of food safety practices. Excellent guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A team player who is willing to help colleagues as needed, fostering a collaborative atmosphere within the kitchen and dining areas.
