Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation Provide excellent guest service by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and upselling menu items where appropriate Ensure cleanliness and organisation of tables before, during, and after service Handle payments accurately and process transactions using the POS system Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and food safety standards Assist in setting up dining areas for service and special events as needed

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for enthusiastic candidates Strong understanding of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures Basic maths skills for billing and cash handling Knowledge of food preparation, culinary techniques, or kitchen operations is advantageous Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and maximise sales Good organisational skills to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
