Duties

Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction. Assist with food preparation as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen.

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods. Exceptional guest service skills, with an ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. Experience in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and boost sales. A background in kitchen or culinary roles is advantageous but not essential.
