Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional hospitality to our guests. You will be responsible for providing a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders, and ensuring that customers have a pleasant dining experience. Your ability to upsell menu items and assist in food preparation will contribute significantly to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to during service. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of culinary presentation. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, aiming for resolution and satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is a must Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately are required. Strong time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and hospitality is essential, along with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour
