Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for all residents.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support residents in daily activities including meal preparation and feeding. Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions. Drive to various locations if required for home care visits or appointments. Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.

Skills

Experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to care plans.
