Summary

We are looking for Waking Night Staff to join our Children's Residential teams at Great Oak Lodge Ltd. This role is vital in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents during night-time hours. You will play a key role in providing a nurturing environment that supports the development and stability of children and young people.

Responsibilities

Monitor the safety and well-being of residents throughout the night. Provide support and assistance to children and young people as needed. Maintain accurate records of any incidents or observations during your shift. Communicate effectively with team members regarding any concerns or updates. Assist with care plans and ensure they are followed appropriately. Engage with residents in a positive manner to foster a supportive environment. Working part of a team

Salary - Qualified rate - Candidates who hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent.

Starts: 30,958.00 per annum

Rising to 32,008 after successful passing of probation. Rising to 33,058 after 1 year of continuous employment.

Salary - Unqualified rate - Candidates who DO NOT hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent.

Starts: 29,811 per annum

Rising to 30,861 after successful passing of probation. Rising to 31,911 after 1 year of continuous employment.

Norwich, Norfolk.

Hours:

Full time.

Requirements

Experience in childcare or working with children/young adults who have experienced trauma is essential Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents and team members. Ability to follow care plans and provide individualised support. Basic IT skills for record-keeping purposes A valid driving license.
