We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, particularly children, and will be responsible for providing essential support in various settings. Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being. Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans tailored to each child's needs. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their personal growth and development. Maintain clear and effective communication with children, families, and other professionals involved in their care. Drive to various locations as required for activities or appointments, ensuring safe transportation for the children. Utilise IT skills to document progress and maintain accurate records of care provided. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Previous experience working with children is highly desirable. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation needs. Background in childcare or relevant qualifications will be an advantage. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with children and families. Familiarity with creating and following care plans is beneficial. Proficiency in IT is necessary for record keeping and reporting purposes.
