Waking Night Experienced Practitioner- London

Day or night positions available

Starting Salary of \xc2\xa326,900 per annum

A well established residential service in London are looking for an experienced practitioner to join their team in several locations outside London.

As an Experienced Practitioner, you will provide direct support and care for young people aged 12 to 17 years whilst also working within a therapeutic framework.

There is also fantastic in house training provided in this position along with real opportunities to develop your own career and who doesn\xe2\x80\x99t want that!

What is offered in this position

• Starting Salary \xc2\xa326,908, rising incrementally to \xc2\xa329,128 per annum based on performance.

• Tailored career development plan through with real opportunities for progression to Team Leader, Deputy Manager and Manager.

• 25 days holiday rising to 27 days after 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 service, plus Bank Holidays, pro-rata.

Skills and experience

• Desirable Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (i.e. Level 3 Diploma Children and Young People Workforce with the children\xe2\x80\x99s social care pathway).

• Minimum of 1 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working and supporting Young People to achieve their full potential.

• Experience of achieving outcomes as part of working in a service and the records which evidence that.

• A working knowledge of key legislation regarding Safeguarding practices relating to children and young people.

• Understanding of the issues experienced by young people such as bullying, gangs, radicalisation, self-harm, sexual exploitation and how these impact on behaviour.
