We are recruiting Waking Nights Support Workers for our children's residential home in Romford. As part of a dedicated team, you will provide consistent care and play a vital role in safeguarding emotional wellbeing while households sleep.

What You Will Be Doing
Ensuring young people feel safe, calm and supported overnight
Monitoring wellbeing and responding to individual needs with empathy and professionalism
Supporting bedtime routines and promoting positive sleep habits
Upholding a nurturing environment that prioritises safety and stability
Completing domestic checks and tasks to support the running of the home
Following care plans, behaviour support and risk management strategies
Keeping accurate documentation including logs, incidents and handovers
Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals
What We Need From You
Essential Criteria
Experience supporting children or young people (residential or related settings beneficial)
Confident communication and relationship-building skills
A child-centred, compassionate and resilient approach
Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
Flexibility to work waking nights including weekends and public holidays
A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn
Desirable Criteria
Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or similar (or working towards)
First Aid training
Experience supporting children with complex behavioural or emotional needs
Full UK driving licence
