We are seeking a skilled wall/floor to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tiles in various residential and commercial projects. Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and applying adhesives to ensure proper tile installation Measure and cut tiles accurately using hand tools and power tools to fit specific spaces and designs Lay tiles according to schematics, patterns, and specifications provided by architects or clients Grout, seal, and finish tiled surfaces to achieve a professional appearance Assist with other aspects of construction painting or carpentry as required on site Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all phases of work Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring tools are stored safely after use

Experience

Proven experience in tiling or related construction roles is preferred Familiarity with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, and cutters is essential Experience working with power tools including drills and saws is advantageous Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings relevant to tile installation is desirable Background in general construction, carpentry, or construction painting will be considered a plus Ability to read technical drawings and interpret schematics accurately is beneficial
