Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Duty and Assessment Team in Walsall. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for safeguarding vulnerable children and families, conducting assessments, and ensuring that appropriate interventions are in place to promote welfare and well-being. Key responsibilities include:

Conducting initial assessments and ongoing reviews of children and families in need.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
Registered with Social Work England.
Proven experience in child protection and assessment work.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a diverse caseload.
