We are currently seeking a Ward Clerk to provide essential administrative support to Derwen Ward.
A strong team ethic and a commitment to maintaining high standards are key requirements for this role. The successful candidate should be comfortable working both collaboratively and independently.
The successful applicant must demonstrate excellent teamwork abilities as well as the capacity to work independently. Effective communication with hospital staff at all levels, patients, and carers is essential.
We're looking for someone who is diligent, motivated, and detail-oriented to assist ward staff with a variety of administrative duties. These include updating hospital systems, managing medical records, and answering telephone calls. Full training will be provided to support the successful applicant in their role.
The candidate should have excellent computer skills, with a good telephone manner, capable of updating records, filing, dealing with incoming and outgoing post, arranging appointments and ambulance bookings.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
