To be an integral part of the Paediatric Unit team, providing efficient secretarial and clerical support. The post-holder will provide an efficient, confidential and professional secretarial service to the Paediatric clinical teams. This will include administration and secretarial support to enable provision of patient care. Good communication with parents, relatives, general practitioners and other hospital staff is essential to ensure a proficient, high quality service for patients and clinicians.
To monitor and manage the hospital EPR system on the ward, acting in a professional and courteous manner at all times. Respond to requests for information promptly and efficiently using a variety of communication methods, ensuring that information is up to date, accurate and information governance standards are adhered to.
