Ward receptionist on a 16 bedded ward within the surgical division. Specifically Head & Neck. Working as part of the team to facilitate good patient flow and patient journey on the ward.
Organising appointments, updating PAS demographics for all ward patients/ transactions (admitting / discharging etc.) , appointment booking, clinic preparation, scanning etc. It is expected that staff will be able to demonstrate a reasonable level of initiative in organising their workloads and in taking decisions and action within clearly defined limits.
