Job Overview

We are seeking Ward Host/Hostess' to join our catering team at the Royal Derby Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team, to help provide a high quality and efficient, patient orientated catering service working within the ward areas. Full training will be provided, so previous experience is not essential, and this will be a great role for someone looking for the next step in their career
The ideal candidate will have a passion for looking after people and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

As a Ward Host/Hostess, your role is integral in the provision of a comprehensive catering service for our patients, visitors and staff, the NHS couldn't function without you.

Duties include:

Taking Patients orders Preparation of food Plating and presenting the patient meals on the wards Providing a beverage and snack round Maintaining high standards of hygiene in kitchen areas
The role is for 26.8 hours per week based on a 3 week rolling roster which comprises of earlies (0700-1300) and lates (1200-1830) and includes weekends.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
