Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge? Linfoot ward is looking for a courageous, ambitious registered nurse with excellent leadership skills to join our fantastic, dedicated team as Ward Manager.



Linfoot ward is a multifaceted ward providing care for patients with a plus sized background, clinically unstable community patients requiring semi acute care and rehabilitation patients from our acute partners within Oxfordshire.

Lead the ward; be responsible for the ward budget and overall responsibility for the line management of the staff on the ward.



Provide high levels of skilled leadership and utilisation of motivational, innovation and change management skills.



Be a skilled and experienced clinician and be responsible for providing expert knowledge and skills to more junior members of the team and the provision of more complex care planning and care provision.

Deliver safe and effective health care within the organisation.



Take 24 hour responsibility for the delivery of care needs for individual and groups of service users.



Ensure patient information is collated, monitored and fully accurate maintaining complete and contemporaneous records in line with the NMC / professional bodies of the Trust.



Manage and lead safe and effective discharge planning working in collaboration with colleagues in the multidisciplinary team within the community and community hospitals. Work collaboratively and ensure maintenance of effective multi-disciplinary communication and with other professionals / agencies / other stake holders to ensure needs are met in relation to care input, support for ongoing care needs and safe discharge.
