The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of warehouse activities, ensuring accurate record-keeping, coordinating shipments and deliveries, and supporting the warehouse team with administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate inventory records, update stock levels, and perform regular stock checks.
Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams to schedule deliveries and collections.
Manage warehouse documentation, including invoices, delivery notes, and purchase orders.
Support the warehouse team with daily administrative tasks and reporting.
Monitor warehouse systems for discrepancies and assist in resolving issues.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
Assist in the preparation of reports for management, including stock reports and performance metrics.
Handle customer queries and communicate effectively regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or administrative role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse administration or logistics role.
Knowledge of health and safety practices in a warehouse environment.
Familiarity with shipping and freight documentation.
