Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves a combination of warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring efficient operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and the ability to handle materials safely and effectively.

Duties

Load and unload goods from vans, ensuring that all items are handled with care to prevent damage. Operate forklifts (If trained, if not training will be provided) and other warehouse equipment to move stock efficiently within the warehouse. Maintain accurate inventory records by doing daily stocktakes Perform regular stock checks and assist in building orders for dispatch. Engage in heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse environment, promoting a safe working space for all employees. Assist with materials handling tasks, including sorting and storing products appropriately.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, with a solid understanding of stock management processes. Ability to perform heavy lifting and engage in physically demanding tasks throughout the shift. A valid driving licence is required for driving duties associated with this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
