Job Summary
The Warehouse & Logistics Lead will oversee all warehouse and logistics operations to support international trade (import/export) and onsite production builds. Drive routine management behaviours within the stores to improve workflow efficiency and right first-time material flow to the shop floor, distributors and end customers.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of a Warehouse & Logistics Lead are to ensure the smooth management and control of direct components into the business; Goods inwards, store/warehouse, internal operations (kitting, picking) & to manage the logistic networks for on time delivery for international trade.
This involves:
Supervising daily operations to meet productivity targets
Inventory & warehouse management systems
Order fulfilment (Internal/External Customers)
Shipping & Receiving - On Time and In Full
Develop team competencies and cross-training
Import/Export Regulations (Commercial Documentation)
Perpetual Inventory & Auditing
Basic Qualifications/Experience
Proven experience in a warehouse and logistics role, and experience in a lead position handling import/export regulation
Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory management software
Institute of Operations/Warehouse Management or similar
