Senior Warehouse & Logistics Operative / Driver

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on individual to take ownership of our warehouse, logistics, and stock control. This role is critical to ensuring goods move efficiently from production through to UK and overseas delivery.

You will manage warehouse operations, coordinate deliveries, book freight, and oversee stock control. The role includes UK-wide deliveries, assisting with installations, and managing logistics for overseas shipments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily warehouse operations and stock control Plan and coordinate UK deliveries and installation schedules Book deliveries with couriers and freight forwarders Manage and oversee overseas shipments and logistics transactions Prepare export paperwork and liaise with agents where required Receive, check, and book in goods accurately Quality control goods inwards and outwards Prepare, pack, load, and deliver furniture across the UK Assist with on-site installations and furniture placement Maintain accurate records using computer-based systems Liaise with production, upholsterers, suppliers, and logistics partners Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient warehouse

Requirements

Full UK driving licence Excellent computer skills (stock systems, spreadsheets, delivery and freight booking systems) Proven experience in warehouse and logistics roles Experience booking deliveries and managing freight forwarders Understanding of overseas shipments and export processes (preferred) Strong organisational and stock control skills Physically fit and comfortable handling large furniture Flexible with working hours and UK travel Detail-focused with strong quality and packing standards Forklift licence preferred but not essential

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
