Job Description

As an Apprentice Warehouse Operator, you'll be an important part of our warehouse production team -- not only supporting the smooth flow of goods in and out, but also learning to operate a range of machinery and equipment that play a vital role in our manufacturing and dispatch process.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to develop technical skills, and is looking for a long-term career working in a modern warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist with

inward stock deliveries

, ensuring all goods are received and recorded accurately using our IT systems.

Pick, pack, and prepare

customer orders efficiently and safely, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy. Learn to

operate a range of warehouse machinery

, including pallet trucks, forklifts (18+), guillotines, laser etc Support the

sub-assembly

of products before shipment, gaining hands-on experience with mechanical and production processes. Maintain excellent

housekeeping and safety standards

, ensuring all equipment and storage areas are kept tidy and operational. Participate in

stock counts, system updates, and quality checks

to support smooth and accurate operations.

Training & Development:



You'll receive full training in:

Safe and efficient

machine operation and maintenance checks

Warehouse management systems

and stock control processes

Health & Safety procedures

, including manual handling and equipment safety

Basic mechanical and assembly techniques

used in production

Essential Skills:



Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy Good communication and teamwork skills Self-motivated with a proactive attitude to work Comfortable working in a practical, hands-on environment Basic IT literacy for stock and system updates

Personal Qualities:



Positive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn new skills Reliable with a strong work ethic Keen interest in machinery, tools, and technical processes Willingness to take initiative and support the wider team Determination to progress and succeed within the business
Qualifications required

Maths grade C or above

English grade C or above

Future opportunities

There is a full time position available for the right candidate at the end of the apprenticeship.

Terms and Conditions of Appointment



Pay: Starting 7.82 per hour

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 0900-1700.

Probation Period: 3 Months

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 40 per week
