Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, inventory control, and logistics. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse. Perform picking and packing of orders accurately to meet shipping deadlines. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading goods from lorries. Conduct regular stock checks and assist with stocking shelves as needed. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Apply mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance of warehouse equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with materials handling techniques is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as required by the job. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for managing stock accurately.
