Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Looking to employee someone who has experience of picking and packing minimum 1 years of experience. Applicant must be capable of performing physically demanding tasks safely and effectively, including lifting and loading pallets.

Duties

Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently. Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling of materials. Manage stock levels, ensuring that inventory is organised and readily accessible. Handle materials with care, following all safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying quantities and quality of incoming and outgoing shipments. Build pallets for storage or shipment as required. Conduct heavy lifting as necessary, adhering to proper lifting techniques to avoid injury. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment. Utilise AS400 or similar systems for inventory management tasks.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is essential

Previous experience in picking/packing orders is essential

Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues. Familiarity with materials handling techniques is beneficial.. A strong ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
