What you'll be doing
You'll be based in our warehouse where no two days are the same, but this is what you can expect:
Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers, so it's essential that you can help deliver the highest standards of service. The key thing is to be helpful and friendly at all times, and you will likely get to know our customers on a first-name basis.
You will be based in our Warehouse, processing our customer orders, loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.
Getting stock ready to be collected and delivered.
You'll deliver and collect our products to and from customers and branches, safely and efficiently. Making sure that the vehicle is loaded properly and that we meet road transport and traffic legislation standards, you'll help our operation run smoothly.
Safety is at the forefront of everything we do. Your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, meaning maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.
You'll be trained to safely drive a counterbalance forklift truck as part of your role.
The role can be demanding, with heavy lifting a key part of the job, so you must enjoy working in an active environment with a safety-first mindset.
Who you are
Ideally, you will have some warehouse experience and an MHE (Materials Handling Equipment) licence, but more important than that is a great personality and being a team player.
You're always positive and bring an upbeat energy to work each day, which helps you welcome customers to the branch and get on with colleagues in the workplace.
You'll have previous experience as a Driver (category B, up to 3.5t) and hold a full UK driving licence. Out on the road, you're able to work with minimum supervision due to your experience and having a safety first attitude.
