Warehouse Assistant

Blas ar Fwyd are a leading distributor of quality & artisan foods & drinks to trade customers throughout Wales.

We are looking to employ a Warehouse Assistant to join the warehouse team.

This is a full time, permanent position available immediately.

This role will on a daily basis include driving a van and will at least once a week include a day of delivering to customers.

Required

Clean, manual driving license. Our insurance company stipulates drivers must be 25year old or more, with 3 or more years of driving experience. Comfortable with the physicality involved in the role.

Ideally

Counterbalance Forklift Trained Experienced in a warehouse environment and using a WMS. Experience in handling food, with a food hygiene certification. Able to demonstrate good communication skills in English and/or Welsh

Days, Hours and Pay

40 Hour a week contract

Monday to Friday - 09.00 - finish*

*Finish time Monday to Thursday is typically between 6pm and 6:30pm, depending on seasonality. Earlier on a Friday.

12.50 to be reviewed after 6 months.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
