Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team based in Croydon. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that our high-quality and in many cases fragile products are efficiently handled and delivered. Previous experience working in a similar role is advantageous, you will be required to demonstrate you have the attributes for success in this role.

This role can lead to progression within the warehouse or to other operational roles within the business.

Responsibilities

Support shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely delivery of products. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems to track stock levels. Handle materials with care during stocking and organisation. Perform heavy lifting and loading/unloading tasks as required. Picking and packing orders for shipping. Ensure compliance with safety standards throughout all warehouse operations. Collaborate with team members to maintain an organised workspace. Support related operational departments to provide a cohesive workflow.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a warehouse environment is essential. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 20kg). Minimum GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths To have proficient level of written and spoken English Able to accurately count parts and carry out basic mathematical calculations To be organised and able to work tidily Ability to work to targets (following training and time to learn) retaining accuracy and high output
