Trago Mills (Merthyr Tydfil) - Warehouse Assistant

Conveniently located just off the A470 (Swansea Road) and opposite the Cyfarthfa Retail Park in Merthyr Tydfil, our Merthyr store consists of over 23,200 square metres filled with over 180,000 home and leisure products.

Full Time - 35 hours per week working 5 days from 7

Salary

12.21 per hour plus generous staff discount

Warehouse Manager

Role Summary

To work flexibly, undertaking warehouse and such other activities to maximise sales, business efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Warehouse management and colleagues

Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities

Taking delivery of goods and supplies

Checking for damaged or missing items

Storing and moving stock around by hand, using mechanical aids or forklift truck

Picking orders to dispatch to the retail store

Advising on stock counts

Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilisation

Handling complaints or passing them to a manager

Assisting the company and colleagues by carrying out such duties away from usual areas of work as may reasonably be required

Prepared to carry out arduous work, either physical or mental

Willing to take on reasonable additional responsibility as necessary

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Experience

Previous warehouse experience required

Skills & Qualifications

Good written and verbal communication skills
