Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse operations, including materials handling, stock management, and shipping and receiving activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in warehouse management systems and mechanical processes within a fast-paced environment. Prior warehouse experience and familiarity with forklift operation are highly desirable. Duties

Loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts Managing stock levels through accurate stocking, picking, and packing of products Operating warehouse management systems (WMS) Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods Handling materials efficiently, ensuring safe lifting techniques for heavy loads Maintaining organisation of the warehouse space to promote safety and efficiency Conducting routine inspections of mechanical equipment and reporting any issues Supporting construction or assembly tasks as required within the warehouse setting Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Experience

Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred Knowledge of materials handling, stock management, and shipping procedures Mechanical knowledge or experience with construction tools is advantageous Familiarity with forklift operation is highly desirable; certification is a plus Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and sage system Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stock control and order fulfilment
