Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Altitude Safety team, as the company further invests in our warehouse function to support our rapid growth plans. The successful candidate will provide a key support function to the company, enabling us to continue to provide a first-class service within our workshop and service department.

Key Areas of Responsibility:



Supporting the inbound/outbound team Inspecting/cleaning any returned equipment from off hire/exchanges and checking for any damages before booking in Disposing of damaged and old equipment as per our environmental measures Use of cutting equipment (training provided) Updating and maintaining information on the database system Organise & maintain space within the warehouse & other storage facilities Assisting with stock takes Supporting with van deliveries to customers, as required Travel to other sites when needed Any other duties/tasks as required to support the department and wider business

The Person:



Previous experience in a warehouse environment is desirable but not essential. Current and valid driving license (category B as a minimum); Familiarity with MS Office and database systems Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask in a controlled manner Clear and confident communication skills at all levels of the business Excellent interpersonal skills and customer-focused approach Product knowledge would be advantageous but training will be given Proactive team player Self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative.
Ability to have a flexible approach to the role and its responsibilities during busy periods to support the needs of the team and the business.

Hours:

8.00 am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday (1-hour unpaid lunch)

8:00 am - 4.30pm Friday (half hour unpaid lunch)
