Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing the flow of goods and materials. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently. Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock levels and locations. Perform picking and packing of orders accurately to meet shipping deadlines. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying quantities and conditions of products. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse to promote safety and efficiency. Conduct regular stock checks and assist with stocking shelves as needed. Handle materials with care, ensuring compliance with safety regulations during heavy lifting tasks. Utilise mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance of warehouse machinery

Skills

Proven experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. Proficient in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (MK11) for inventory control. Strong skills handling, including heavy lifting capabilities. Experience with picking, packing, shipping, and receiving processes. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfilment.
