51 hours a week (flexibility to cover when needed)

Shift:

Mon to Friday

Duties as a Warehouse Checker

Check all Warehouse stock Check Items match those on invoices Check Lorries against paperwork Help Load Lorries Communicate with Security, ensuring they are aware of incoming deliveries and couriers. Escalate all issues to either the Security Manager or Logistics Supervisor. Any damage's incurred to the Gatehouse infrastructure and/or fabric or any accidents and incidents should be reported immediately to the Security Control Room and a log should be made in the DOB in Red Pen, with a corresponding statement from the officer as to how the events occurred.

Requirements as a

Gatehouse Security Officer

Deliver excellent customer service Be well organised and have methodical approach Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary Maintain a high standard of personal presentation Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the staff and stakeholders An understanding of the principles of equality and diversity in relation to staff and visitors' needs
