Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in 2 of our warehouses on site. The ideal candidate will have experience in high level cleaning and a keen eye for detail,( however this is not essential as full training would be given.) This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, contributing to the overall presentation and sanitation of our facilities. These premises are required to be kept to a high cleaning standard where regular audits occur and involves cleaning the warehouse racking both at high level on a cherry picker and at floor level with brushing and using the scrubber dryers on site .

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, sanitising , and vacuuming of designated areas. Meet health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, fixtures, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or contamination. Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities to the supervisor promptly. Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes while maintaining quality standards.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to thoroughness in all cleaning tasks. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols. Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively throughout the shift. Physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods. Reliable with a professional attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards in a busy environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.77 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
