Position: Warehouse Clerk
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off
Location: Northampton - NN4 9BD

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

Role Purpose:

• Monitor goods-in data
• Produce, Monitor and maintain reports
• Ensure stock maintenance checks
• Work with the team to develop standard operating procedures
• Pro-actively work with transport, warehouse operations and customer services in order to promote stock and admin processes across the site
• To provide management information and carry out analysis as required
• Monitor system performance across the site in relation to stock flow in / out process
• Updating systems and implementing changes based on Plan/Do/Review feedback
• Ensure that Work Instructions and SOP\'s are followed and check list is adhered to

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

Requirements:

• Previous experience of working in a supply chain environment
• Previous experience of working with FMCG customers
• Experience of working with Stock Management Systems - Desirable
• Excellent knowledge of stock management principles - Desirable
• Problem Solving and Analytical skills - Essential
• Able to work well under pressure - Essential
• Approachable & good interpersonal skills - Essential
• Disciplined/focused - Essential
• Good communicator (written and verbal) - Essential
• Good reasoning skills - Essential
• Good presentation skills - Desirable
• Shows passion, right first time attitude, can do approach and respect to others
• Flexibility to work extended hours to meet the needs of the business
• Good knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel in particular)
• Good numerical skills
• Good degree of IT literacy
