Warehouse Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the goods in and dispatch operations within our warehouse facility. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the accurate handling and storage of incoming materials as well as the safe and proper dispatch of products.

Responsibilities:

Goods In:

• Book incoming materials into the ERP system accurately, ensuring all necessary information is recorded.
• Allocate suitable locations for materials within the system for easy identification and retrieval.
• Verify the correctness and condition of incoming materials, reporting any discrepancies or damages.
• Collaborate with the planner, sales, and production teams to identify upcoming jobs and material storage requirements.

Dispatch:

• Prepare packages, parcels, and pallets for dispatch, ensuring appropriate wrapping, packing, and banding to prevent transportation damage.
• Adhere to company procedures for dispatching items and follow all relevant guidelines.
• Complete all required information accurately on the ERP system for efficient tracking and documentation.
• Pack and store materials in a safe and organized manner, ensuring clear identification and correct location.
• Optimize the utilization of storage areas for effective material management.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the goods in area to facilitate smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and basic computer skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with different teams.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work under pressure.
