Job Description

Universal Lifting Hire Services Ltd is a Wakefield based lifting company and due to continued growth are currently seeking a warehouse operative and driver to join our team to service, maintain, repair and do deliveries of the same equipment.

Role

- To deliver a professional and efficient service in relation to the testing, repair, inspection and maintenance of lifting equipment and accessories primarily in house and occasionally on site.

-Deliver lifting equipment to the location chosen by our customers.

- Test, repair, inspection and maintenance of a wide range of lifting equipment and accessories in accordance with in the LOLER regulations, company procedures and manufacturers guidelines.

- Ensure that all work completed is and recorded using correct procedures.

- Ensuring safe systems of work are established and followed for all tasks and to ensure that high standards of Health and Safety in the workplace are maintained.

- Willing to undertake development training as and when required.

Ideal Applicant

- Strong aptitude for mechanical & electrical and a willingness to learn

- Good fault finding skills

- Experience in the industry preferred

- Valid driving license

- Self-motivated and good time keeping

- Very organised

- Professional appearance

- High standards, taking pride in work carried out.

Hours

07:30am to 17.00 Monday to Friday
