Tradelink Direct is one of the UK's largest fabricators of PVC-U and aluminium Windows, Doors and Conservatories, based in March, Cambridgeshire. As one of the industry's leaders, we offer our loyal customer base, a one stop shop, providing all their product needs from one place, whether it be standard white PVC, coloured foiled variations or even a timber alternative range.

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team, based in Stoke on Trent.

This role combines the responsibilities of warehouse management with driving duties, ensuring efficient handling of materials and timely delivery to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock levels and movements. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse. Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining an orderly warehouse environment. Perform picking and packing tasks for orders, ensuring accuracy and quality control. Facilitate shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading goods from lorries. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and perform basic mechanical maintenance as needed. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and enhance operational efficiency.

Skills

Proven experience in a warehouse setting is essential. Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety protocols. Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for inventory tracking. Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance. Experience in construction is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail in stocking procedures. Competence in shipping & receiving processes, ensuring compliance with company standards. Capable of effectively loading & unloading goods while adhering to safety guidelines. Familiarity with AS400 systems is a plus.
