We are currently recruiting for a Night shift Warehouse General Operator to join our committed team at our Erith site (DA18 4AF). The salary for this role is 28,423 plus 1872 per annum night shift allowance based on the following shift Patterns: Monday- Friday, 40 hours a week between 23:00 and 07:30 am.

Key responsibilities:


Receiving, picking, putting away, replenishment and dispatch. Participating in general warehouse duties where manual handling would be involved in the process. Palletising and Re-palletising products, wrapping, labelling and counting via scanning gun Continuously look to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improvement in business operation and customer service Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity Ensure all company procedures are adhered to, including absence, performance, standards of behaviour, taking due consideration of company values. Ensuring 5S standards are always maintained Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, escalating any concerns to your line manager at the earliest opportunity Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, raising any defects to the Line Manager



Key requirements:


A good understanding of Maths and English Previous warehouse experience (including handling goods up to 20kg as well as two-person product handling Awareness of manual handling techniques Ability to withstand pressure and work to tight deadlines Ability to work as part of a team Attention to detail Able to take instructions Good level of communication, including a good understanding of both written and verbal English
