Warehouse General Support & Cleanliness Operative

to help maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised environment across our busy logistics warehouse. You'll play a crucial role in supporting the wider operations team, ensuring workspaces are tidy, hazards are removed quickly, and waste is managed efficiently -- including operating a waste compactor.

Your Responsibilities

As a

Warehouse General Support & Cleanliness Operative

, your key duties will include:

Performing routine cleaning of warehouse floors and all dispatch/receiving areas. Emptying waste bins, recycling containers, and processing waste correctly. Safely operating a waste compactor (training provided). Monitoring and compacting waste to maintain a clean, organised workspace. Cleaning up spills promptly and reporting hazards or maintenance issues. Following all health & safety procedures, including correct PPE usage. Providing general support to the operational warehouse team as directed by the Facilities Manager.

What We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

Experience in warehouse or industrial cleaning (preferred but not essential). The ability to operate a waste compactor and baler (training provided). The physical capability to lift up to 20kg and work on your feet. Awareness of working safely around manual-handling equipment and machinery. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
