About the Role:

As a Warehouse Hygiene Operative, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our warehouse facilities. This is a hands-on, full-time cleaning role where you'll ensure our warehouses, remain spotless and compliant with health and safety standards.
You'll have access to industry-leading cleaning chemicals and equipment and will work alongside the Facilities Support Team, reporting directly to the Facilities Manager.

This is a full time position (37.5 hours per week), Monday - Friday.

Shift timings are negotiable but 06:00-14:00 (with a half hour break) is desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

Performing daily and monthly cleaning tasks across multiple warehouse units, including walls, doors, fixtures, racking, and floors. Ensuring emergency exit routes and safety equipment are clear and well-maintained. Cleaning and maintaining Staff Welfare facilities, including restocking supplies. Safely handling and using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Reporting low stock of cleaning supplies to Site Maintenance. Collaborating with the team to uphold our high standards of cleanliness and safety.

About You:

Experience in cleaning or a related field is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable using industry-standard cleaning chemicals and equipment. Basic organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
