Expanding family business seek a new member of staff to join their motivated close knit and friendly team.

A vacancy exists in our busy warehouse department for an enthusiastic team player with an eye for detail.

We are a dynamic, fast paced business and this will be a very exciting, varied and hands on role and will give the successful candidate an opportunity to get involved in all areas of the business.

Job Purpose:



To ensure efficient warehouse operations by managing delivery notes, stock discrepancies, sales orders (SOPs), and administrative tasks related to order fulfilment, shipping, and returns.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Delivery Note & Documentation Management



File

SOPs from the previous day

, organised by delivery note number. Sort and prepare

customers QR code delivery notes

for locker deliveries. Process

delivery notes

via the local delivery app. Generate

commercial invoices, courier labels, and despatch orders

for

non-UK (offshore) SOPs

.

2. Stock Control & Discrepancy Handling



Investigate

stock discrepancies

throughout the day. Complete

stock adjustments

on the same day. Conduct

import stock checks

for quality control.

3. Courier & Logistics Coordination



Book couriers

for pallet deliveries/collections Assist with

holiday cover tasks

, including printing reports and verifying pallet accuracy

4. SOP & Ticket Issue Resolution



Process

SOP changes

and resolve

cut ticket issues

Support

Returns Department

in locating stock and managing supplier returns

5. Reporting & Admin Support



Run and clear the

Mums to SAP report

Maintain the

complaints log

(updating spreadsheets). Assist with

general admin tasks

.

Skills & Qualifications:



Experience in

warehouse operations, logistics, or despatch administration

. Strong

organisational skills

with attention to detail. Proficient in

SAP (or similar warehouse management systems)

. Ability to

prioritise tasks

. Knowledge of

courier booking processes

(e.g., pallet deliveries). Basic

Excel/data entry skills

for complaints logs and reports.

Schedule:



Hours: 08.00 - 17.00 Mon - Fri. Inclusive of 9 public/bank holidays. Christmas Closure 25/12-1/01.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 29,000.00 per year
